My opinion on zombies!

Well this whole week is pretty much Zombie Appreciation week! If you would like to know more head on ever here and check it out! Anyways, so I thought that I would share my opinion on zombies. Ok, well I can't say that I entirely love them, and at the same time I can't say that I hate them. One year my and my friend did dress up as Zombie Prom King & Queen. It was so much fun! I have never read a zombie book though, so story wise I can't say. I am going to be reading and reviewing Generation Dead soon though so, hopefully its as amazing as I have heard that it is. There are so many other books out there that I want to read but that is going to be another post later this week. In movies, well I like the idea of the living dead because it adds to that scare factor. Cause I mean, would you be calm if the entire world was taken over by dead people who wanted to kill you? I wouldn't!! But dressing up as them can be lots of fun, Cause I mean there is an entire Zombie walk, all over the world to raise money! I will talk more about that later in the week, but how many of you would participate??

Dawn of the Dead (1978)

WOW! Ok so I just finished the old Dawn of the Dead, and I have to say that I thought it was dumb!! The zombies were just painted grey. Some of them had more detail to them but not many. The characters, oh dont even get me started! They were so dumb. If they would have used some common sense, everything would have been a lot better! They weren't even really acting all that scared, at least in my opinion. In the movie, they discover a mall and take it over and make themselves a little home, which is great. That was the one thing in the movie that I thought they did that was good. Overall I would never watch that movie again! I own it, well my parents do, but this was the first and last time I will ever watch it. There are other movies out there with zombies that are so much better. Maybe if I was born around that time I would have a different opinion, but as of right now I thought it was dumb! If anyone has seen it and thinks differently or even agrees, let me know either way what your thoughts are.

This was probably the best zombie out of the whole movie. The make-up is a little heavy but compared to the rest of them, it actually looked like one.

In my mailbox (12)

Well this week I got three books. I am so excited to get to all of them!

Bought:
Wake & Fade by Lisa McMann

Wake - Not all dreams are sweet. For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime. She can't tell anybody about what she does- they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives in the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can't control. The she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. she is a participant.....

Fade - For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They're just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck. Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody's talking. When Janie taps into a classmate's violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open--but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie's in way over her head, and Cabe's shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both.

Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability. And it's bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a Dream Catcher sealed, but what's to come is way darker than she'd even feared...

Borrowed - Hunted - P.C. & Kristin Cast

This one I had to wait on a list to get! ugh, I hate doing that.

Hunted - What if the hottest guy in the world was hiding a nameless evil, and all he wanted was you?

At the start of this heart-pounding new installment of the best-selling House of Night series, Zoey’s friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren’t Neferet’s
secrets any longer. But an unexpected danger has emerged. Neferet guards her powerful new consort, Kalona, and no one at the House of Night seems to understand the threat he poses. Kalona looks gorgeous, and he has the House of Night under his spell. A past life holds the key to breaking his rapidly spreading influence, but what if this past life shows Zoey secrets she doesn’t want to hear and truths she can’t face?

On the run and holed up in Tulsa’s Prohibition-era tunnels, Zoey and her gang must discover a way to deal with something that might bring them all down. Meanwhile, Zoey has a few other little problems. The red fledglings have cleaned up well – they’ve even managed to make the dark, creepy tunnels feel more like home – but are they really as friendly as they seem? On the boyfriend front, Zoey has a chance to make things right with super-hot ex-, Eric, but she can’t stop thinking about Stark, the archer who died in her arms after one unforgettable night, and she is driven to try to save him from Neferet’s sinister influence at all costs. Will anyone believe the power evil has to hide among us?

So that is all that I got this week but I am so excited to get to them!! so leave me a comment and let me know what everyone else got!

Bookish Meme

So I was looking around reading a lot of different blogs, when I came across this meme over at Steph Su Reads. She had posted many but there was only one that I really wanted to do.

Hardback, trade paperback or mass market paperback?
In all honesty, it doesn't really matter to me, most of the time. I love hardcover because it takes a lot more to destroy them, but sometimes I just like paperback. Im wierd like that. I take very good care of my books though and dont loan them out anymore. I once loaned my copy of Twilight to a friend and when I got it back it looked like this....

Barnes & Noble or Borders?
I would have to say both. I love going to Barnes & Noble, I love the atmosphere there. Also the Starbucks :D But I also have a Borders rewards card that comes in very very handy.

Bookmark or dog-ear?
I HATE dog-earing! Like I said before I take really good care of my books and that is one thing that I hate to do because it destroys the pages. I don't care if I even have a bookmark handy I will use a sticky or just something laying in front of me.

Amazon or brick-and-mortar?
I do buy some books on Amazon because sometimes you can get really good deals but there is nothing better than going into the store and looking at books. Holding them and seeing the actual cover is so much better than seeing it on a screen.

Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
Well I put the series' together but other than that its pretty random. And when I say random I mean RANDOM :) Just remembered I also have The Host by Stephenie Meyer but my step mom is reading it right now, so its not in the picture.
Keep, throw away, or sell?
I have always kept all of my books. I have more than are the picture above, they are just packed up somewhere and were from my childhood. It never mattered if I didnt completely like the book I keep them.

Keep dust jacket or toss it?
I have to have the dusk jackets or I go nuts! They are annoying when your reading but they help protect your books!

Read with dust jacket or remove it?
Kind of answered that one already :) I cannot stand to read with them on, so I take them off and put them up for safe keeping and then when I'm done with the books I put them back.

Short story or novel?
Definitely novels. Short stories are okay sometimes but I like to sit down and read for hours on end. You get more details and the stories are usually better.

Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Thats a hard one. I have not finished either series completely. I finished the first 3 Harry Potter books but the movies started coming out faster than I could read the books. My family owns all of them and I will eventually read them but right now I dont really wanna. They seem to be pretty good but I cant really judge between the two till I finish both. I have gotten all the way to either 10 or 11 on the Lemony Snicket. Which I started reading in like 8th grade and at the time I loved them. I own the 12th one but havent read it yet. It was my friends and then two years ago there was this really bad ice storm where we lost power for two weeks straight and a snowglobe I had broke, not quite sure how, and spilt all over the book so I got her a new one. Its not horribly ruined but I felt bad.

Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks?
It really depends. If its a really interesting part and im not too entirely tired, I prefer to stop at the chapter breaks. But there are those times when I am reading and I am so tired that I cant keep my eyes open, that I will stop right where I am at and pick up there in the morning.

“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time”?
Thats a hard one for me, I definitely love the Once upon a time fairytale type of story, about the princess and the handsome prince and all that but at the same time give me a mystery "It was a dark and stormy night" anytime.

Buy or borrow?
Usually I just borrow from the library because I usually can't afford to spend money on books but every once in a while I like to kind of treat myself. If I really want the book then I will most likely buy it but I am afraid of wasting money on a book that I am not going to like. I do alot of research before just buying one.

Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
I usually read a lot of reviews when I decide the get a book but sometimes I'll just pick up a books and if it sounds really good to me then I will get it. Not very often though.

Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
i can't pick between those. I definitely love a book that can stand alone and has a great ending where there are no questions left over but sometimes a cliffhanger is great! I dont like cliffhangers in stand alone novels though, only in a series. I just finish The Summoning and the cliffhanger at the end of that one is amazing and makes me want to read the Awakening so bad!!

Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
I mostly read at night when I am trying to fall asleep, but I do read periodically through out the day. If I am bored and have nothing else to do, or if I am reading a really good book that I want to know what is gonna happen I will pick it up and read for hours.

Stand-alone or series?
Stand-alones are great, but give me a series any day. With a series you usually get more of a story and can get more into the book. There arent many stand alones that I would read over again. Once is usually enough for me.

Favorite series?
This one is kinda hard but the most recent series I have read would have to be my favorite so far. That would be the House of Night books. They are amazing and I am a sucker for a vampire story. I think the Darkest Powers series is about to knock them out though. (The Summoning & The Awakening)

Favorite children’s book?
My favorite childrens book would have to be The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth. I read this when I was in like 2nd grade and loved it. It is the only book that sticks in my mind when I think back that far. Also a book about a moose because that my last name but I cant remember the book name.

Favorite YA book?
As of right now my favorite YA book would have to be The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. That book was amazing!

Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?
I think my favorite book that a lot of people havent heard of is Perfect by Natasha Friend. I read it a couple years ago and loved it.

Favorite books read last year?
I really didn't read many books last year but the books that I did read were Eclipse and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I love to read but haven't started reading like I use to until this year.

Favorite books of all time?
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O' Dell
Perfect by Natasha Friend

What are you reading right now?
Audrey, Wait! By Robin Benway

What are you reading next?
Probably Madapple by Christina Meldrum. Its sitting at the top of my tbr pile.

Favorite book to recommend to an 11-year-old?
It would probably have to be Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. I read it in the 7th grade and loved it so...

Favorite book to re-read?
I would have to say the Twilight saga. I know there has been a lot of hype about them but I really want to read them again and completely refresh my mind. I remember most of it but there are little details I want to remember.

Do you ever smell books?
ABSOLUTELY! I love smelling brand new books. There's nothing like it. I also like to feel the pages of new notebooks. They're so soft and smooth! :P Im a dork I know.

Do you ever read primary source documents like letters or diaries?
I have to say that i never have. Unless you count Night by Elie Wiesel. That was an amazing book about his life during the Holocaust!!

Booking through Thursday (1)

Ok so I have seen this around a lot and thought it would be another good thing to do during the week. I like how it is always different and interesting to see what others have to say.

btt button

What’s the lightest, most “fluff” kind of book you’ve read recently?

Well its been quite a while since I have read anything that I would consider "fluffy", but if I had to pick something it would be If I have a wicked stepmother, Where's my prince? by Melissa Kantor. I thought that it was a really cute little story. It definitely had a Cinderella theme with a kind of modern twist on it, but it never really got too complicated or anything like that.

So that was my answer and I would like to hear what everyone else has to say so if you want leave me a comment letting me know or if you made a post yourselves leave me the link and I will be sure to head on over and check it out.

"So the next day, Alis put up her bundle of belongings and Jessie gave her a loaf of bread, cheese wrapped in muslin, and the little money she had earned. Then she climbed into the wagon, and within a few minutes it had passed through the yard gates out onto the road going north, the wheels turning briskly in the crisp morning air."

The Summoning - Kelley Armstrong

The Summoning - Kelley Armstrong

Summary - My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.
All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost- and the ghost saw me.
Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House.... before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

My thoughts - I cant believe its done!! I just finished it like two minutes ago and I have to know what happens next. I have so many hunches and I need to know whether they are right or not! For those of you who have read this, did you see that coming?? Ok so about what I thought about the writing and so forth. The writing was amazing, very well written, easy to understand, and definitely keeps your interest. The characters are amazing! There are still some things about the story though, that I need answered. Mostly the history, there is something missing, but I am sure that will all be answered in the next book if not the third. The plot was very original. When I first read the description, I thought it was just going to be about a girl who saw ghost and that would be it, just ghosts. Well, Kelley Armstrong went beyond that. I think that this has to be one of my favorite books. I am a big, BIG, vampire fenatic but this book finally got me away from that. I cannot stress enough how amazing I thought this book was. I am going to be ranting to my dad for days about it! Absolutely Incredible and a must read!

In my Mailbox August 23, 2009 (11)

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren. Click here to learn more about it.

Well once again, I only got one book from the library this week, but I can't wait to read it.

Need - Carrie Jones

Summary - Zara White suspects there's a freaky guy semi-stalking her. She's also obsessed with phobias. And it's true, she hasn't exactly been herself since her stepfather died. But exiling her to shivery Maine to live with her grandmother? That seems a bit extreme. The move is supposed to help her stay sane...but Zara's pretty sure her mom just can't deal with her right now.

She couldn't be more wrong. Turns out the semi-stalker is not a figment of Zara's overactive imagination. In fact, he's still following her, leaving behind an eerie trail of gold dust. There's something not right - no human - in this sleepy Maine town, and all signs point to Zara.

In this creepy, compelling breakout novel, Carrie Jones delivers romance, suspense, and a creature you never thought you"d have to fear.

I did this one a little early. I thought today was Sunday but its only Saturday! :)

Wicked Lovely - Melissa Marr

Summary -

Rule #3: Don't stare at invisible faeries.
Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in the mortal world. Aislinn fears their cruelty-especially if they learn of her Sight-and wishes she were as blind to their presence as other teens.

Rule #2: Don't speak to invisible faeries.
Now faeries are stalking her. One of them, Keenan, who is equal parts terrifying and alluring, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer.

Rule #1: Don't ever attract their attention.
But it's too late. Keenan is the Summer King, who has sought his queen for nine centuries. Without her, summer itself will perish. His is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost-regardless of her plans or desires.

Suddenly none of the rules that have kept Aislinn safe are working anymore, and everything is on the line: her freedom; her best friend, Seth; everything.
Faery intrigue, mortal love, and the clash of ancient rules and modern expectations swirl together in Melissa Marr's stunning twenty-first-century faery tale.

Review - I have a kinda mixed opinion on this one. At first I didnt really like it. I found it kinda hard to get into, but by the time I got to the end I was starting to like it. I was not in love with it but I liked it. I didnt like how the whole thing was dragged out. It felt like they kept repeating the same things over and over again. My favorite parts were 1. the times that Aislinn and Seth spent together. I usually feel the same way as the characters in my books and I almost always got a happy vibe from those scenes. Also my other favorite sections were at the very end where all the action happens. That is usually my favorite in books. With this one I would have to say that it left me wanting more but in a kinda it fell short sort of way. One thing that I really liked about the plot was the difference in the fey. When you normally think of faeries you think things kinda like tinkerbell, well at least I do, but these are not that way. I did like the spin on that part but because of the fact that it was very dragged out it kinda fell short for me. I will definitely be reading Ink Exchange to find out what happens. It is supposed to be more of a companion novel, not really a sequel, but I am hoping that the characters from this one are still involved.

In my Mailbox (10)

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren. Click here to learn more about it.

So here is what I got from the library this week :)

Envy by Anna Godbersen

Jealous whispers.

Old rivalries.

New betrayals.

Two months after Elizabeth Holland's dramatic homecoming, Manhattan eagerly awaits her return to the pinnacle of society. When Elizabeth refuses to rejoin her sister Diana's side, however, those watching New York's favorite family begin to suspect that all is not as it seems behind the stately doors of No. 17 Gramercy Park South.

Farther uptown, Henry and Penelope Schoonmaker are the city's most celebrated couple. But despite the glittering diamond ring on Penelope's finger, the newlyweds share little more than scorn for each other. And while the newspapers call Penelope's social-climbing best friend, Carolina Broad, an heiress, her fortune—and her fame—are anything but secure, especially now that one of society's darlings is slipping tales to the eager press.

In this next thrilling installment of Anna Godbersen's bestselling Luxe series, Manhattan's most envied residents appear to have everything they desire: Wealth. Beauty. Happiness. But sometimes the most practiced smiles hide the most scandalous secrets. . . .

I have read the first two and can't wait to get to this one!! I wanna find out what happens to everyone :)

So thats all I got this week so let me know what you got and i'll be looking at everyone else's! Also let me know what you think of the new layout! I thought it was adorable :)

Interviews

ok so here in the coming weeks I am going to have some interviews with some fellow bloggers because, 1. I wanna know what has inspired others and what they get most out of blogging and 2. I feel my blog needs more than the reviews and meme's that I am part of. But still I would like to interview authors about the books that I have been reading, the only problem is I am not too sure how to go about doing that. Do I contact them directly? Do I contact their publisher?? I am new to this and I need some help. I know that authors are very busy and dont have time to sit around and answer everyone's questions but eventually I would like to pick at them and find out what inspired different aspect of their books.

Also I just want to mention things that are gonna be coming up soon on the blog. I am almost done with Wicked Lovely by: Melissa Marr, which I am loving by the way, and am going to be starting some more books. I am hoping to get some more reviews up cause it has been kinda slow lately. Well thanks so much for reading this and I cant wait to see what you guys say :)

Untamed - P.C. and Kristin Cast

Summary - Life sucks when your friends are pissed at you. Just ask Zoey Redbird – she’s become an expert on suckiness. In one week she has gone from having three boyfriends to having none, and from having a close group of friends who trusted and supported her, to being an outcast. Speaking of friends, the only two Zoey has left are undead and unMarked. And Neferet has declared war on humans, which Zoey knows in her heart is wrong. But will anyone listen to her? Zoey's adventures at vampyre finishing school take a wild and dangerous turn as loyalties are tested, shocking true intentions come to light, and an ancient evil is awakened in PC and Kristin Cast's spellbinding fourth House of Night novel.

Review - Once again Zoey is surrounded by drama and danger. This one wasn't my favorite in the series but it was still good. I felt like it spent more time trying to answer previous questions than deal with what was happening at that moment. Even though it answered many old questions it brought up many, many new ones. Like, I hope this doesn't spoil anything, but why does Zoey feel so close to Stark only after a couple days and she has hardly talked to him? and then you never find out. This one is definitely not one to miss because it answers old questions and also brings up some new drama and suspense. I really glad to see the direction that they are taking with Aphrodite. At first I couldn't stand her but that is all starting to change. As well with everyone else. The ending had to have been my favorite but also my least favorite. I felt that there could have been more that happened and I didnt like the point that they left off. I understand wanting to keep you in suspense for the next one but I wasnt. I cannot quite put my finger on it but something at the end just didnt fit well for me. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone who asks.

Book Blogger Appreciation Week Meme

Ok so I have heard alot about the Book Blogger Appreciation Week decided to go check it out. If you are interested there is a link to it in my side bar. Anyways I was over there reading about it and love that fact that they are having an appreciation week for all of us out there who love to read and blog about our ideas and review the books, whether we love them or not. Reading along I found some questions that said if you did not participate last year that you could answer them and seeing as this is the first year that I am going to participate I thought that I should answer them. So here goes....

1) What has been one of the highlights of blogging for you?
I would have to say that one of the biggest highlights of blogging for me would have to be getting to know all of the bloggers all over the world and how nice most of them are. I never really realized that there were so many of them out there when I started my blog and now I follow so many I cant even keep track of the number. It is so great to be able to see what other people think about the same books that I have read and get their perspective on them.

2) What blogger has helped you out with your blog by answering questions, linking to you, or inspiring you?
That would definitely have to be Kristi at The Story Siren. She has always been very helpful with answering any questions that I may have. At first I thought that no one was ever going to know anything about my blog, and I was ready to delete it when I started talking to her asking her different questions and she gave me the confidence to keep going. She told me that it just takes time and effort so I kept going. I have only had my blog since April and I have 17 followers. That may not seem a lot compared to the hundreds that everyone else has but every time I log on and see that that number has gone up it makes me want to keep going cause I know there are people that want to see what I have to say and its all thanks to her. Don't get me wrong there have been others to help but she has help the most.

3) What one question do you have about BBAW that someone who participated last year could answer?
I would have to ask what the best thing about participating would have to have been for them. What did they get out of it, whether it be meeting new people or whether it helped them to improve their blog.

I am so excited to see what all is going to happen during BBAW. This is my first time and I hope that its going to be great. So if your interested head on over and fill out their application.

Im so far behind!

Gosh, I have been flubbing off my reading for the last week and I need to get going. The book I am reading right now is really good and I want to finish it but lately my mind has been wandering every where but my books, so starting right now, well at the end of this post I am going to sit down and not stop til the book is done. I only have 149 pages left and it shouldn't take me too long to finish those. So I promise to have a review up either late tonight or in the morning, depending on how tired I am.

Since school was out I have been very nocturnal, going to bed at 6 am and getting up at like 3 pm! I was tired of sleeping all day so I switched my schedule back. This morning I got up at 7:45 so... depending on how late it is that I am done will depend on whether the post is up tonight or in the morning.

Well this week I only got one book that I found at the library and have heard that it is supposed to be good so I got it and it is....

Madapple - Christina Meldrum

The secrets of the past meet the shocks of the present. Aslaug is an unusual young woman. Her mother has brought her up in near isolation, teaching her about plants and nature and language—but not about life. Especially not how she came to have her own life, and who her father might be.

When Aslaug’s mother dies unexpectedly, everything changes. For Aslaug is a suspect in her mother’s death. And the more her story unravels, the more questions unfold. About the nature of Aslaug’s birth. About what she should do next.

About whether divine miracles have truly happened. And whether, when all other explanations are impossible, they might still happen this very day.

Addictive, thought-provoking, and shocking, Madapple is a page-turning exploration of human nature and divine intervention—and of the darkest corners of the human soul.

So to the next thing I got this week, I know its not a book but my dad finally ordered it for me for my birthday, that was two months ago:P, and I was so excited I was shaking when I opened the box and that is................ THE SIMS 3!!!!!! YAY!

Well thats all I got this week and I will start checking out what everyone else got.

Waiting on Wednesday

This week my waiting on Wednesday would have to be Tempted by P.C. & Kristin Cast. I have to say when they finally released the cover of the book my jaw dropped, quite literally. It has to be my favorite so far and I am hoping that the book will be my favorite in the series as well.

Summary - So…you’d think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark’s life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break. Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang. Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions. Speaking of stress, the dark force lurking in the tunnels under the Tulsa Depot is spreading, and Zoey is beginning to believe Stevie Rae could be responsible for a lot more than a group of misfit red fledglings. Aphrodite’s visions warn Zoey to stay away from Kalona and his dark allure, but they also show that it is Zoey who has the power to stop the evil immortal. Soon it becomes obvious that Zoey has no choice: if she doesn’t go to Kalona he will exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her. Will Zoey have the courage to chance losing her life, her heart, and her soul? Find out in the next spectacular installment in the House of Night series, TEMPTED.

Summer Guilty Pleasures Giveaway

So The Book Muncher is holding a contest where you can enter to win Summer Girls by Hailey Abbott or The A-List: Hollywood Royalty by Zoey Dean. So if your interested head on over and check out their contest!!!

Chosen - P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

Summary - Bloodlust and dark forces are at work at the House of Night, and fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird's adventures at the school take a mysterious turn. Those who appear to be her friends are turning out to be enemies. And, oddly enough, sworn enemies are turning into friends. So begins the gripping third installment of this "highly addictive series" (Romantic Times BOOKreviews), in which Zoey's mettle will be tested like never before. Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey doesn't have a clue how to help her, but she does know that anything she and Stevie Rae discover must be kept secret from everyone else at the House of Night, where trust has become a rare comoodity. Speaking of rare, Zoey finds herself in the very rare position of having three boyfriends, a situation with the potential to spell social disaster. Then vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. But as Zoey and her friends find out, things are not always as they seem.....

Review - WOW!! When I finished this one I was in absolute shock! I thought I knew how the book was gonna end but I was proven wrong. First of all I would like to just say "GO ZOEY" it seems like no matter what is thrown at her she finds someway to come out of it or prove to someone that she will. So much happened in this book and I wanna talk about everything but I don't wanna spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it. That is why I am so unsure of what to say about it, other than once again the Casts' did an absolutely amazing job and I don't know how they do it. I have already started reading "Untamed", which I'm not very far but if its anything like the last three, which I'm sure it is it will be amazing!! There are just so many crazy things that happened in this one which I wish I could elaborate on but once again I really dont wanna ruin it for anyone who hasnt read it but if you have then you know exactly what I am saying!! So if you havent read it go out and get it now! Borrow it from someone, go to your library, do whatever you have to do to read this series because it is definitely one of the best that I have ever read!!
