Blue is for Nightmares Review

Book Summary - Stacey's junior year at boarding school isn't easy. She's not the most popular girl at school, or the smartest, or the prettiest. She's got a crush on her best friend's boyfriend, and an even darker secret that threatens to ruin her friendships for good. And now she's having nightmares again. Not just any nightmares – these dreams are too real to ignore, like she did three years ago. The last time she ignored them, a little girl died. This time they're about Drea, her best friend who's become the target of one seriously psycho stalker. It started with weird e-mails and freaky phone calls. Now someone's leaving Drea white lilies – the same death lilies that have been showing up in Stacey's dreams. Everybody thinks it's just a twisted game . . . until another girl at school is brutally murdered. There are no witnesses. Worst of all, no one has a perfect alibi. With everyone as a potential suspect, Stacey turns to the one secret weapon she can trust – the folk magic taught to her by her grandmother. Will Stacey's magic be strong enough to expose the true killer, or will the killer make her darkest nightmares come true?

My review -
I thought that it was an amazing book. It was hard to put down, it always left you wanting more and to know what was gonna happen. The ending was a little dull I thought that it could have ended much better but overall amazing!! I would definitely recommend it to other people. Also there are more in the series so you will be definitely be hearing my opinion on those!!

Behind..

Sorry its been so long.. alot of things going on lately..
Well first off i haven't gotten any new books but I did just finish one... Blue is for Nightmares.. I have to say that it was pretty amazing and will post a review later on. As of right now I am reading Looking for Alaska by : John Green, and that is where my teaser for this week will be coming from.

Instead they have a bundle of energy, and that bundle of energy is transitory, migrating from one body to another, reincarnating endlessly until it eventually reaches enlightenment. I never liked to writing concluding paragraphs to papers-where you just repeat what you've already said with phrases like IN SUMMATION and TO CONCLUDE.

Review - Girl Cook By : Hannah McCouch

Girl Cook - Hannah McCouch

Book Summary -
Layla Mitchner is a twenty-eight-year-old Cordon Bleu graduate trying to carve out a space for herself in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of Manhattan's top restaurant kitchens. She knows she's got the talent to be a great chef, but there she is slaving for a misogynistic boss who'd sooner promote the dishwasher than give a woman the chance to prove her sous-chef mettle. And while Layla knows that the dwindling balance in her bank account won't begin to cover what she owes her roommate, she's desperate not to seek help from her self-absorbed, serially divorced, soap-apera-actress mother.

Her romantic prospects seem no brighter. She gets set up with a nice enough guy, but his tassel loafers and corporate demeanor reek of the WASP aristocracy she's determined to leave behind. After continuously striking out, she meets a musician who appears to be the bohemian Mr. Right of her dreams, only to find he may be more deadbeat than heartthrob. But Layla refuses to settle for anything short of true love and success, and she ultimately finds both where she least expects them.

My Review -
I thought this book was very modern and not like your usual "Cinderella" story. Nothing was sugar coated and you never knew what was gonna happen. You think that this is whats gonna happen and you keep reading and it takes a twist that you would never expect. Its not all serious or funny or even romantic, Hannah McCouch combines an equal amount of all. I loved this book but the one thing that I thought could use some work was the ending, through the whole book it keeps you wanting more and wanting to know whats gonna happen next and the ending is just the same. If there is gonna be a sequal so that you know what happened to Layla, that would be great but the ending now kinda sucked. Other than that AMAZING book.

NOTE - This is my first review so it may not be the best. :)

Girl Cook Teaser

Ive been reading about everyone's "teasers" and I thought that I would do one for "Girl Cook" By: Hannah McCouch.

But things aren't so clear-cut when they're happening to you. There are various possibilities for Frank's behavior: A) He feels weak, insecure, and afraid, and tying up women gives him a sense of-if only for a minute-that he's in control (inspires sticky pity, warm affection).
