In my Mailbox August 9, 2009

Well this week I only got one book that I found at the library and have heard that it is supposed to be good so I got it and it is....

Madapple - Christina Meldrum

The secrets of the past meet the shocks of the present. Aslaug is an unusual young woman. Her mother has brought her up in near isolation, teaching her about plants and nature and language—but not about life. Especially not how she came to have her own life, and who her father might be.

When Aslaug’s mother dies unexpectedly, everything changes. For Aslaug is a suspect in her mother’s death. And the more her story unravels, the more questions unfold. About the nature of Aslaug’s birth. About what she should do next.

About whether divine miracles have truly happened. And whether, when all other explanations are impossible, they might still happen this very day.

Addictive, thought-provoking, and shocking, Madapple is a page-turning exploration of human nature and divine intervention—and of the darkest corners of the human soul.

So to the next thing I got this week, I know its not a book but my dad finally ordered it for me for my birthday, that was two months ago:P, and I was so excited I was shaking when I opened the box and that is................ THE SIMS 3!!!!!! YAY!

Well thats all I got this week and I will start checking out what everyone else got.

Madapple sounds amazing. I love the cover! I didn't enjoy the Sims 3 too much but you'll probably love it.

Madapple looks really good, and I'm getting used to The Sims 3. Some parts of it are a really big change. I also just wanted to say, even though it will sound really odd, that the cover for Madapple goes amazingly well with your template! Happy reading
